IHI Personal Accident ( Supplement to your IHI health insurance Valid from 2005) (Castellano)
Few people stop to think about how a serious accident might affect their lives. An accident which leaves you seriously injured or disabled can bring all sorts of financial problems. It could mean you might be unable to return to work for several months or even permanently as a result of your accident.
IHI Personal Accident can be taken out as a supplement to your IHI Health Insurance. It is designed to help you replace some income if you cannot work because of illness or injury. This type of protection should be a fundamental element of your financial plan because if you are less than 60 years old, the risk of becoming disabled is statistically higher than the risk of dying prematurely.
Advantages
* There is full-time coverage for any occupational or leisure time accidents, however, with the exception of dangerous sports
* You can choose between different insurance sums
* You will receive the insurance sum, regardless of any other insurance you might have
* You only need to fill in the claim form together with a police report or statement from the doctor - we will take care of the rest, ensuring you immediate payment
Choose the insurance sum that suits your needs. The premium is based on your choice of insurance sum and your occupation.
Insurance sum
You can choose between the following insurance sums in USD or the equivalent in other currencies:

The sum can be changed upon any renewal.
Premium tables
The currency of your IHI Health Insurance determines the currency of your IHI Personal Accident cover. The indicated premiums are annual premiums and are based on occupations such a doctor, lawyer, teacher, system analyst, economist and other related office occupations.
The payment terms (ie annual, semi-annual) follow the payment terms of your IHI Health Insurance.

Please note that the compensation in case of disablement / death for children is limited to USD 5,000 / 3000 or the equivalent in other currencies.
Application
Persons aged 3-59 are elegible to apply for IHI Personal Accident as a supplement to their IHI Health Insurance. The insurance will cease automatically at the age of 65 or when the insurance sum is paid out.
Underwriting
When International Health Insurance danmark a/s receives your application, we will perform an individual underwriting evaluation. If you should have any additional individual risk factors, a premium loading will be applied.
Renewal
Once your individual premium is determined, no individual adjustments in relation to the renewal will be made. Please note that if you change your occupation this may effect your premium, for which reason you are obliged to inform us of such change.
